The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (BRMAA) is pleased to announce the 40th Annual Spring Arts in the Park fine arts & crafts festival held on May 28 & 29, 2016 from 10am to 5pm in heart of the Downtown City Park in Blue Ridge, GA.  The Arts in the Park festivals, hosted by BRMAA, have been recognized as one of the Top 20 Events by the Southeast Tourism Society and Blue Ridge was recently recognized as one of the top 5 Art Towns in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Council for the Arts and the Georgia Municipal Association.

“BRMAA is beyond thrilled to celebrate this year’s Spring Arts in the Park festival for its incredible 40 year history,” said Nichole Potzauf, Executive Director for the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association. “The support and stunning artistry of our Arts Town community here in Blue Ridge has helped us grow the Arts in the Park festivals beyond our wildest dreams and allowed our Arts in the Park festivals to continue to showcase regional and nationally recognized fine artists and distinguished crafts artisans for years to come.”  The Spring Arts in the Park festival is a southern tradition that attracts over 150 juried artists and vendors during this holiday weekend. Spring Arts in the Park provides a multitude of fine arts and fine crafts such as painting, mixed media, photography, pottery, wood, jewelry, metal, and textiles, but also a wide variety of food vendors and artistic demonstrations throughout the festival… creating a unique art experience for the whole family.

Entrance to this two-day festival event is $5 for adults, free for children. Proceeds from the Spring Arts in the Park benefit and support the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association, a non-profit arts council in Fannin County.  For more information check our our website.  For local area and lodging information, please contact festival sponsor, the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce & CVB.
